JAY Z ‘s new album “Magna Carta Holy Grail” comes to Samsung Galaxy fans first, great marketing done by Samsung.

Apparently if you own a Samsung Galaxy, the first million get to download the app #MagnaCarta on June 24th on their phone, get the album free on July 4th, three (3) days before the rest of the world. 

This is a very unique approach  by the artist in many different levels, with leaks of producers from J-roc, Boi-da, Vinylz,  Timbaland, Rick Rubin, Pharrell and Swizz Beatz but no Kanye on this project??

And this happens just in a timely fashion when this past week Kanye’s Yeezus and J.Cole’s Born Sinner brand new album release, which they both are two of Jay’s most talented artists under Roc nation or does Jay Z have a bigger vision on creating this marketing climax by bringing all the attention to his camp?

In a video preview Jay Z explains the meaning behind the song “Oceans” featuring Frank Ocean.

“It sounds like a celebration of where we are now on some big yacht, throwing champagne in the water,” he tells Rick Rubin. “But the undertow of the thing is that this is the same water that brought us here originally as slaves, so it has this whole duality and even how we re-write history, the stories we were told about the history of America.”
